This site is dedicated to all of the Brothers and Sisters who helped create the BLET. Without their hard work, dedication and sacrifice we would not have the many benefits we enjoy today. However, now is not the time to sit back and relax. Unions all across America are under attack, not only from the politicians who demonize us at every chance, but right from our own place of work. When immediate supervisors prey on Brothers or Sisters because of their lack of knowledge of their rights, or when we allow the Collective Bargaining Agreement to be circumvented in order to line own pockets, we give up all that has been fought for in the past. The time has come to put an end to the behavior that diminishes us. This website is a work in progress, and will always be a work in progress. As it grows we grow. It is my intention to make this website a tool in which we ALL can use to become a Smarter, Stronger, well oiled machine that stands up tall and is proud to part of Union that binds us all together.
